About us

Making films is more than a passion for Image Quilt director, Omonike Akinyemi.  It has allowed the company to grow in scope.  our narratives focus on people of diverse cultures, sizes, abilities, and points of view.

 

Besides making short narratives and documentaries for companies such as Community Realty, State Farm Insurance, The Option Institute, the Links, Inc., the Walden Chamber Players, and the Underground Railroad History Project, Image Quilt has created its own short features and documentaries that have screened at varied venues--WNET/Channel 13, the Cannes Film Festival, Jasna Polana Country Club, the European Film Market, Cinema Delle Donnee, Femi Festival of Women and Cinema, and more.

 

Image Quilt was founded in 2001, while Omonike was a Rotary scholar in Paris, France.  Upon returning to the states, Omonike brought a sense of the depth of cinema to touch people throughout the world.  For Film Production Services, contact us at production@imagequilt.com or call 917-340-1624.
